Council of Presidents (COP) for a discussion on Public Perception and the Portrayal of African Americans in the Media.

The event will be held during the same week as the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 2:00 p.m.–3:30 p.m., doors open at 1:30 p.m. at United States Capitol Visitor Center Congressional Auditorium and Atrium, Washington D.C. Among the shortlist of honorees, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity will be presented with the Phoenix Award at the black-tie dinner, 6 p.m., Sept. 19, at the Walter E.
